How to choose a memory foam neck pillow
Buying a neck pillow in Lebanon? Check its shape, dimensions, height and care instructions. The word 'orthopaedic' alone does not tell you what to choose.
Start with the model, not just its name
When searching for a memory foam pillow or neck pillow, similar names can describe different products. Open the specific model's page and check its photos, brand and product code. These details help identify what you are ordering, particularly when comparing it with a product you saw in a shop or online.
A useful description explains the shape, materials and package contents. The word 'orthopaedic' alone does not explain those details, mean the pillow suits everyone or establish that it treats neck pain. If your clinician specified a model or feature, follow that guidance.
Read the stated dimensions and height
A photo can make a pillow look larger or smaller than it is. Look for length, width and height in the specifications, then compare them with the space available and the pillow you currently use. Do not estimate dimensions from a photograph or the word 'large'.
If a model has two edges of different heights, check each height against the manufacturer's information. If that information is missing, ask about the model before ordering. There is no single height we can call the best for everyone, and memory foam pillows do not all have the same shape.
Separate cover care from foam care
Check what the package contains and whether the description says the cover is removable. Read the cleaning instructions for the cover and filling separately. A washable cover does not mean that its foam filling can be washed in the same way.
Follow the product label and manufacturer instructions rather than a general cleaning recipe from the internet. If care instructions are missing from the page, ask for clarification before washing the pillow or cover.
Check before opening the packaging
Before confirming your order, check the current price, package contents and exchange terms on the product page. Send AskMed the pillow's link and your questions about its specifications. This keeps the conversation about the exact model, without guessing from a photo or a general name.
On delivery, check the model name and code on the packaging before opening it. If it differs from your order, contact us first and keep the packaging.
