Silicone insoles: choosing the model and size
Buying silicone insoles in Lebanon? Compare the model and code, check its shoe-size chart and read the care instructions before ordering.
An insole is different from a heel cushion
An insole sits inside a shoe, while a heel cushion is a piece for the heel area. When comparing products, check the name, photo and description: these terms can be mixed together in advertisements.
'Silicone' describes the material, not the shape, size or number of pieces in a package. Read the specific model's details. If you have a prescription or a clinician's recommendation, send us the model name or requested specification instead of choosing a piece simply because it uses the same material.
Compare the shape and model code
Products that look similar in photos may be different models. Check the manufacturer's code, brand and insole shape, including any description of its arch or side. Colour alone does not establish that two products are identical.
If a model is described as having a high arch, that describes its shape; it is not enough to determine whether it suits you. Our team can clarify product specifications, while a clinician who knows your situation can assess your medical needs.
Use this model's size chart
Read the size chart on the insole page and check whether it uses EU shoe sizes or another measurement. Compare your shoe size with the stated range for each option and select the matching option. Do not use another product's chart, even if it comes from the same brand.
If the chart is unavailable or your size falls between options, send AskMed the product link and your shoe size before ordering. Do not cut or modify the piece unless that exact model's instructions explicitly allow it.
Check the package, care and exchange terms
Use the package contents to check whether the price is for one piece or a pair, and read that model's cleaning instructions. We cannot assume a single washing method for every insole or heel cushion.
Read the exchange terms before ordering, then check the model and size on delivery before opening the package. If a product question remains, message us with its link so we can give you the information available for that exact item.
